For our anniversary, I gave Ken a gift card to Cabela's. He could hardly wait to go use it! When we made it up to Billings, he was like a kid in a candy store (or me at The Hen House! ;) ) Anyway, he's been wanting to get a fishing pole for quite awhile, and what do you know!? Fishing poles were on sale the day we went up there! He picked out a nice one and he had enough that he also bought a princess one for B and a Spider Man one for T. The kids were so thrilled, they could hardly wait until they had a chance to go out and use them! A couple weeks ago, it was nice enough they were able to go out one morning. I kept Hayden home because it was still a bit cool and he was still convalescing. Anyway, there were no fish caught, but all three had a blast! Ken said they were excellent casters; Bailey fell in the water, they made mud pies, threw rocks and even packed a lunch! They loved it!
Later that afternoon, it had warmed up even more, so we decided to all go to the park. We had a great time there as well. Hayden was big enough this time he could have more fun than just sitting in the stroller. He LOVED the swings and had a great time on them! He even crawled clear across the park to go be with Ken and the kids... it was pretty cute to watch... it was quite a ways for a little fella! We all had a great day and were worn out with fun by the end of the day!
