Our Taysum Guy is 6 years old! (5/18/11) I just can't believe how grown up he's getting! It's been such a priviledge and blessing to watch this little boy grow and develop. He's come so far and he's just doing better and better all the time! We love him so much! He's pretty excited to be six and feels pretty grown up! This year, he had a Lego party! If you've every seen him when he's excited, you know how fun it is to watch. He gets so excited about the littlest things and everything is the best thing that has ever happened! First thing in the morning, he opened presents from us. He loves getting new Wii games, so we had this all set up for him when he woke up. It's The Very Hungry Caterpillar ABC's.
He was even thrilled about getting new clothes!
I wanted to get some pictures of our big little man, but Baiely didn't want to be left out!
Then...
And now...
I found these cool candies online... it was so great, because they actually stuck together pretty well!
We had his party at the park. I didn't realize that little league was going on, so there were tons of people there, but we had fun anyway! Sweet Uncle Nick made the trip from Billings just to be with us!
He got some more really fun gifts from family
It was a little windy, so we had to blow out the candles "in shifts" :)

Not sure who the little boy in the red T shirt is... he just kind of invited himself to the party... had cake and ice cream and everything! :)
The gift from the Lindsay's was the hit of the party! It was a little rocket shooter and everyone wanted a turn. Ken and the Uncles had a fun time trying to get it off the roof a couple times!
When we got home from the party, we just had to set up the basketball hoop from Grandpa and Grandma. The kids loved it!
Happy birthday, Taysum! We love you so much and we are so proud of you! I feel so blessed to get to be your mommy. You are so smart and handsome and I just stand in awe of your love for life! I hope this year and every year is the best year of your life!
