The Mark Cutlers

Every year towards the end of May, Ken's brother Mark and his family come for a visit.  They go to a leather show in Sheridan during the week and then they come over the mountain to visit us.  This year, we went over to see them and the leather show.  The kids just love their cousins and everyone had a great time!  We hung out in their room for a little while and took the kids swimming.  Taysum and Bailey both were a little too brave and jumped in on their own... there were a few too many close calls, but we survived!

It rained the entire time we were in Sheridan!  We tried to head back that night, but as we got up the mountain, the rain turned to snow.  At one point, we were sliding backwards and couldn't go further.  So, we turned around and went back to Sheridan.  Mark and Alicia helped us find a hotel (every place was packed because there was so much going on!) and we stayed the night.  The next day we made it over the mountain and we were able to really enjoy hanging out together!

Our kids and their kids are the closest cousins in age, and it's really fun to see them together!  Lizzy is only 2 months younger than Hayden.

We took them to Quinn's birthday party as well...

Ken was leaving for Utah the the next morning by plane, and they were driving home.  I got really sick that night, but I survived Ken being gone!  As Ken was packing up, Taysum put Ken's hardhat on... it was pretty cute!

 

We love this tradition of getting to see them each year!  We always have a great time with them!  We're already looking forward to next year! :)
